Brown spots are also known among people as age spots and liver spots. They appear as flat and brown or dark spots on the skin. The age spots can vary in size. Most frequently the age spots appear on the shoulders, hands, face and arms since these zones are the most that are exposed to sunlight.
These spots mostly appear in persons who are older than 50 years, however young people could also have them in case they didn’t pay enough attention to the time they are spending on the sun.

Those areas that were the most exposed are probably going to be covered with liver spots, since this pigment is produced in big amounts.
PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM THE SUN
You have to protect the skin from the sun in order to be able to defend yourselves from age spots.
These spots can appear to everyone, but they mostly appear in those people with light-colored skin and the ones who are frequently exposed to sunburns.
However, remember that the brown spots aren’t dangerous. If you notice they change their shape or appearance, you need to go to see a specialist, since they could be an indicator for melanoma.
APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Since it naturally contains alpha hydroxyl acids, apple cider vinegar is the perfect skin exfoliator, similar to the expensive anti-aging creams which help lighten those age spots. Yu just need to dab a bit of it on the affected areas of the skin just before you go to sleep and leave it to stay during the night.
In order to protect the skin from drying out very much, you can mix in a bit of olive oil that is going to leave it feeling smooth and soft. Repeat the procedure every day, and within 3-4 weeks, you need to see a noticeable difference.
This remedy can be made even more effective if you add horseradish to it, however, it’s going to take a little more time to put together. In order to do it, you should finely grate 4- to 5-inch piece of horseradish and then add it to the apple cider vinegar. Combine everything well, and then allow it to sit still for 2 weeks.
After two weeks, shake well the remedy and then strain it into a storage container with a lid. You should apply the mixture to the age spots one or two times a day, every day, until you get the desired results.
However, remember that it is normal to experience some redness or stinging initially, like you would with a store-bought toner, but in case the irritation is severe, stop using it, or try diluting the remedy with water.
