This incredible Brownie Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cake is the chocolate dessert recipe that you wouldn’t like to miss!
The cake itself is so easy to make. The brownie layers are simply brownies baked in 9-inch round cake pans. You can also use a box mix but if you have a homemade brownie recipe that you love you can definitely use that. The filling is no bake cookie dough that is very delicious that you are going to have to stop yourself from eating all of it before it makes it on to the cake. If your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe has eggs, you can remove them, and replace the moisture from the eggs with some milk. You should add enough milk to make the dough looser than the cookie dough would usually be.
Moreover, you can make a quick ganache and just pour it over the cake, and sprinkle it with some brownie chunks. The cake will be amazing, and will surely surprise the person you are making it for.
BROWNIE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH CAKE
- Preparation Time – 40 mins
- Cooking Time – 40 mins
- Total Time – 1 hrs 20 mins
- 2 boxes of Brownie mix (this should be mix that makes 9×13 inch pan of brownies, that is going to make 2 9 inch rounds, if the pan is smaller double the amount of brownie boxes) + the ingredients listed on box (or your favorite homemade brownie recipe!)
- 2 1/4 c Flour
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
- 2 sticks Butter , softened
- 3/4 cup of Sugar
- 3/4 cup of Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract
- 3 teaspoons of Milk
- 2 c Chocolate Morsels
- 2 cups finely chopped Dark chocolate
- 1 cup of Heavy cream
Method of preparation:
Combine the brownie batter up and pour it into four greased and parchment lined 9-inch round pans. Bake the brownies by following the instructions on the packaging for 8×8″ brownie pan.
While the brownies are baked and cooled make the no bake cookie dough.
First, you need to mix the salt and the flour in some bowl.
In a separate mixing bowl make a cream by combining the sugar, brown sugar, and the butter.
Add the Vanilla extract.
Slowly add the flour mixture a bit at a time.
Once the mixture is fully combined add the milk a tablespoon at a time until your cookie dough is a consistency that is loose enough to be able to spread.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Heat the cream in the microwave until it starts to boil. After that, pour over the chopped chocolate and stir until it becomes smooth and completely melted.
Assemble the brownie cake by starting with a layer of brownie, then spreading the no bake cookie dough over it, brownie, cookie dough, brownie, and then the a last layer of cookie dough.
Pour the ganache over the cookie dough. Next you should chop up the last brownie round and sprinkle over the top.
